So I was on Youtube when I saw this rainbow heart next to the name, in the top left corner, right? So I clicked on it, and this beautiful video popped up, #ProudToBe
I watched the entire thing, and my mom comes in and so I show her the video. She watches, and makes one comment. "Okay but you're not gay." I looked at her but kept quiet. Then, she questioned what Pansexual meant. I told her, "It's different from Bisexual, because it doesn't matter of the gender or sexuality or anything, you just love the person for them. Bisexual means you just like boys and girls." and she argues that it's basically Bisexual, and I argued it wasn't.
Knowing she doesn't support the community and keeps saying, "But You're not gay," really hurts me. I'll have to leave as soon as I can, because I need to be more free. Today, I dressed like a guy (damn I'm sexy). Yesterday, I dressed like a girl. Knowing she doesn't want me to be gay, really hurts. She won't accept me, which is why I want to leave because then when I choose to leave, she can't do anything to me. Sure, she can disown me as her child, but I'll be an adult basically, so it wouldn't matter. Anyway, that's it. So, bye, and be absolutely Proud of who you are, because you're beautiful. <3
